Some testimonials:

“Jacqui is an extremely artful and practiced storyteller – a delight to watch.  She told stories to each of the primary school classes in our local school, as well as a mixed age group and for the teens at the local learning centre.  In each case, she chose audience appropriate stories- flexibly and seamlessly adapting her approach when necessary.  She re-told selkie stories and folk tales to suit the primary school theme and ghost stories to appeal to the teens.  These were of varying length and pace solidly and beautifully told.”

Renita Boyle, author, storyteller

“We met up with Susan and Michelle from Ackworth Howard school last week and both were absolutely raving about the work you did and the difference it made to the children. They have been busy rewriting schemes of work and trying to implement your ideas across the curriculum and I can honestly say you’ve had some of the best feedback we’ve ever had! You’ve really affected the lives of those teachers and their students.”

Debra Kidd, Integrate Arts

“On the day I also sat in on Jackie’s session with the children for a short spell after lunch until break time.  It was in a cramped classroom with the tables pushed back and chairs in a circle.  There were brass instruments rehearsing in the hall, making concentration difficult...Nevertheless the session was very successful... When the children went to work, several approached Jackie affectionately to show their appreciation of the session.  One girl came up and lifted Jackie off the floor! I enjoyed watching this session, there was a lovely atmosphere and everyone seemed to bring out the best in one another.”

“Do you know what you did to me? I used to think that fairy stories were baby stories, now I think they’re brilliant!”

Chloe, pupil, Lancaster

“Jackie is an inspiration and I wish she could be there to help with all areas of planning on a weekly basis!”
